 Mountain Way Healer

What does it mean to be a Healer in the sense of a Mountain Way practitioner? First, one must acquire a knowledge that allows them to be able to make choices that lead to a more balanced lifestyle in the areas of nourishment (through foods, beverages, and super foods/nutrients), anti-stress behavior, programmed relaxation response, relationships (acquisition and awareness), finances, and personal time. At this juncture one may ask, “How am I to have the discipline to incorporate all this?” Understand that this is a process much like creating a masterpiece sculpture. It takes time, effort, and belief. Also, the Warrior Phase helps you to develop discipline in a way that it pervades all areas of your life, which enhances your focus and ability to accomplish goals. Next, as you move on to more advanced levels of development, you have the opportunity to learn one or all of the following,
  • Mountain Way Preventive Nutrition Counseling
  • Traditional Chinese Herbal Science
  • Traditional Chinese Acupressure
  • Mountain Way Medical Qigong

When asked what the most important personality trait that one develops or enhances as a result of the Healer Phase of Mountain Way, without a doubt it would be compassion. When you see others suffering and you have the readily available means to help them you can hardly prevent yourself from offering guidance. This desire then leads to a greater connection to humanity. Healers have a tendency to be more connected to their surroundings than most others. If we all just made an effort to take great care of those in our personal circle of interaction there would be little suffering in the world.
